Blanky Blank

LOCATION: Local water, Very weedy.
WEATHER:Strong South Easterly to Easterly winds, Clear blue sky, High sun, Very cold.
TACKLE:  12ft carp rod with 30lbs Mono.
Small selection of lures, unhooking equipment, waders.
METHODS: Spinning and plugging.
Fishing between weeds, shallow to deepish water.

Arrived around 1 o`clock, was already set up so started fishing straight away.
Very slow with gusts of wind pushing down the lake, tried a variety of lures to no avail.
Was very weedy except in certain spots, little bank space to cast so needed to wade but got deep very fast.
Felt a knock or two but no hook-up.
Sat down for some tea and a sambo but decided to leave, walking away and fish started to feed on the surface, but I still made my way home.
Some lovely scenery and lots of wildlife to keep me company.
